I liken my coaching practice, “reflective beings” to a metaphorical "Personal GPS" (Global Positioning System). Together, we find your way; help you out of your rut, get on track, unstuck, create a map, stop spinning wheels, get pointed in the right direction, navigate your journey and celebrate arrival at your desired destination. With one eye in the rear view mirror, you will see where you've been, make sure you’re in the driver’s seat and clearly "be" what lies ahead.

And we do it all within the best vehicle on life’s road – YOU!  All this can be achieved through coaching – employing the successful and masterful Dream Coach® process (supplemented with traditional life coaching).

"reflective beings"  is truly about reflecting on one's "self" - of giving one's self "permission" to look deeply in the mirror and fully SEEING what and who is there.  You.  The Dream Coach® process is exquisitely suited to guiding each person to this place of purpose, passion, joy, accomplishment and value! MY life’s purpose is “to serve with energy, light and spirit”.  And the person I choose to serve is YOU. About me:  With a wide variety of experience, a barely contained wit and over three decades of communication work, life’s journey brought me here – to this spot – at this moment in time.  With degrees in Theatre, Art and Speech Communications, I’ve always had a “flair for the dramatic”, the “creative” and the “humorous”.

I gathered.  Gathered all my smarts and sass together after many years in business communications and opened Corporate Comedy©, a production company specializing in humor for business – with an emphasis on musical parodies, meeting/agenda design, continuity and speechwriting.   I wrote.  I produced.  I played.  I dabbled in theatre, wrote short scripts that have been professionally produced on Chicago stages.  I wrote award-winning children’s books that delight small children in their classrooms and at bedtime.  I sang.  Sang my heart out.  And I know.  I truly know that one’s “voice” – both inner and outer – matters. But I didn’t know “enough”. 

So, I studied.  In 2000, I completed “Group Leadership Training” (now known as “Matrix Leadership Institute * The Art & Science of Sustainable Communities & Organizations”).  In 2006, I earned certification as a life coach from the Coach Training Alliance.  In 2008, I soared through Dream Coach University®, studying with Marcia Wieder and her amazing team.  By April, 2009, I will also be a certified Dream Coach Group Leader.   I maintain active memberships in the International Coach Federation and the Chicago Coach Federation. 

I also provide traditional facilitation services to arts organizations for strategic/organization planning, chaos management, conflict resolution; offering a smaller scale, kinder/gentler opportunity for creative groups (talent, boards and administrations); to leave a place where they’ve either been stuck or off-kilter, and help everyone participate in the process of de-chaos-ing; finding common ground and then, together, creating new goals, unity and energy on a fresh and stronger foundation.
