Holiday Special 2005
Marcia's Dream NoteDear <$firstname$>, As the year begins to wind down, we certainly can reflect and feel much about 2005. Personally, what I feel is faith. I choose to trust that better times are ahead for all and as we awaken to the dreams of our hearts, we are more able to connect to our desire, imagination and belief. This Dreamzine contains a simple success plan so you can begin to focus today on what matters to you. I made it simple because we don’t need one more thing that will overwhelm us, but don’t underestimate its power. It can help you gain tremendous clarity and make decisions for next year. So carve out a little DreamTime to listen to your heart. During this holiday season I send blessings and prayers to you and your loved ones Dream Big, A Simple Plan for Your DreamsIn our very full lives we spend so much time doing what we have to do, that rarely is there time “left over” for our dreams. If you want to end this year right, begin to plan for next year. I'm not encouraging you to map out your days and hours or obsess about strategy. But I am suggesting that you carve out one hour of DreamTime for yourself. If you like this process, you can then do another round with your spouse and family. But let’s begin with you. After all, once you connect with your passion -- what you love -- you’ll have more energy (and perhaps even time) for the people you love. Making time for your dreams is not selfish. Since people with passion and dreams actually live longer healthier lives, it’s actually an act of generosity to make time for dreams that make you happy. For most of us, the critical first step is to quit something. Do a quick survey of your life and dump at least one activity, group or bad habit that drains you. If you don’t have to do it and don’t want to do it, perhaps it's time to say bye-bye. If you can’t make that leap yet, you can still move ahead. Perhaps going through this simple process will fuel your desire to make time for your new or important dreams. In the comfort of your own space, and at your own pace, answer the following questions. Do it on paper or with a good listener. They key is to get it out of your head. As you are writing or speaking, allow more and more detail to come. This stream of consciousness may open you to new ideas and insights. Here are the simple, but important questions for you to answer. 1. What do you love or what matters to you? After you answer these questions, create at least one simple, yet essential, action step to set yourself up for success. What is the single most important thing for you to do this week, or even better, today? If your dream is to write a book, join a writers group, clear a physical space where you can write and be creative, draft your table of contents or hire a coach. Demonstrate that you're more committed to your dream than to any fear, doubt or limiting beliefs that might get in your way. Take the essential first step so you know and can declare that you are in action on your dream. If you’d like more help, check out the Power to Dream below. Take the First Step... Join Power to Dream e-book Club and every month an e-book will arrive in your e-mail. Each e-book offers step-by-step guidance to help you discover and live your dreams. The first month, you'll download an online audio to welcome you and explain how easy it is to take the first step. Later in the year, you’ll participate with other dreamers in two open coaching sessions with me to keep you on target and laser-focused on your dreams. The e-books are easy to download, print and read at your convenience.

Dream Quote
“Strategy is a funny thing. If you plan too much, too soon,
you’ll often compromise on your dream and squelch the passion.” Dear Marcia,
My doubt is holding me back. I have a direct selling business and recruited my first lady under me! Now I have a down line that I'm supposed to inspire but I'm having a hard time inspiring myself. She's a go getter! She reminds me of me in the beginning. But I feel like my fire died out and I need to reignite my passion. J ************* Dear J – The way out of doubt is to focus on your dreams. Often the best
way to get inspired is by inspiring someone else. Help your recruit
be successful and amazing things will happen for you, too. Start
small by doing something that makes you feel good...at least one
thing TODAY. Let her know you are going to be her Dream Coach and
even though you are not perfect (who is?), you are committed to
her success. Keep me posted. Warmly, Need help? E-mail your questions. Serious About Your Dreams? Choose a Certified Dream Coach to provide you with a complimentary session.
