Marcia's Dream NoteDear <$firstname$>, I just completed an awesome week where I had the honor of certifying a new group of Dream Coaches. This continues to be one of the richest and most extraordinary things I do. These Coaches are true believers of this work and the week was nothing short of miraculous. There is nothing like witnessing the human sprit as people awaken to their purpose and essence and breakthrough their limitations. If you’ve been pondering your dreams and desires, let this issue inspire you to take a step forward, TODAY! Dream Big, New Thinking for A New YearWhat do you spend your time thinking about? Look at what inspires you or even what frustrates you, and you may find the seedling of an important dream. Is it time for you to ponder something new? If you don’t like what you’re thinking (or obsessing about) and want to shift your mind, schedule a little dream time to connect to your heart. It can do a world of good. New thinking is less about what you are turning over in your mind, and more about what you will do about it. New thinking is about taking action on the thoughts, issues, and desires that spark your heart and imagination. New thinking is also about integrity, which is the key to manifestation. Many of us have been over-thinkers, analyzers and critics long enough. I often profess, share your dreams, and talk it up. But if you’re just talking, nothing may be happening. Dreams without action are fantasies or simply nice ideas, and aren’t your dreams too important for that? New thinking includes doing, so a new thinker acts on what’s important. Integrity has to do with showing up and keeping your agreements. These agreements can be with others, with your self or with God. I’ll write more about this in my next ezine when I discuss Purpose. But right now, what is one thing you’ve been thinking about for a long time? I encourage you to shift your relationship to it by doing something like make a call, send an email, or take a class. Take an essential step forward. This is how your dreams will happen. If you are ready to catapult your life forward, listen to Marcia’s inspiring tele-class, Setting Your Intention for 2006: www.dreamcoach.com/audio/012406.mp3. We encourage you to also share it with your friends. _______________________________________ Build greater confidence as you learn powerful skills for achievement. Dream Quote
“The most serious Dreamers are also Doers.” Dear Marcia,
It was great to hear you speak at Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). I have a long term dream. After the kids are grown and I have more money, I want to open a specialty swim suit store in my town. Question…is it ok to have a dream that you don’t want to start on until later in life? Or should I be focused on it now? What I see myself doing over the next few years is dreaming and thinking about the idea and then slowly start to put down on paper what the whole deal would look like. Thoughts? D. ************* Dear D – What will keep you connected to your dream is to write it out in detail, go chat with a few folks in retail and in this business. Once you get clear about your vision, see the possibilities and get encouragement, you may decide to act on it now. If you want this to be a 2nd half of life dream that’s ok. But the way to keep it alive is to break it down into projects that you can accomplish now. If money wasn’t the big issue, is this what you would love to do? Don’t assume you can’t make even more doing what you are passionate about. This dream deserves further exploration NOW. Then you can decide which dream is calling out to you more. Warmly, Need help?
