Marcia's Dream NoteI am thrilled to announce my long awaited new book has arrived. Dreams are Whispers from the Soul is filled with my best quotes and stories punctuated with stunning nature photos. Published by Simple Truths, it is quite a work of art. Funny, while writing it and assembling 20 years of my work, I thought it was the end of an era for me. But now I see it as the beginning of a new and much more beautiful expression of my message and body of work. I hope you love it as much as I do. Dreams are Whispers from the Soul Share Your Gifts, Going GAGA(Reprinted from a previous issue) I have been exploring something I call “GOING GAGA.” It’s the practice of expressing Gratitude, Appreciation, Generosity, and Abundance. Gratitude is the feeling of being blessed and of course, grateful. It’s the expression of what I love and am thankful for. It includes friends, family, good health and all the gifts in my life. My practice in this area is to also be grateful for the things I might normally dislike or reject; challenges, difficult people or situations, even receiving tough feedback. If we can be grateful for the tough stuff, it’s easy to be grateful for everything else. This is a GAGA concept. Appreciation is the act of expressing gratitude. My GAGA practice here is to “go over the top.” What fun to “love on someone you love.” Look for the pearls. Rather than look for what’s' wrong, look for what’s right. Rather than pointing out how your partner or family or team members can be better, mine for the gems. Encourage their gifts as you acknowledge what is amazing about them. And don’t forget to do this for yourself. Go GAGA. Generosity is the act of giving “it” away. Give away compliments, gifts, send cards. Give away what you don’t need or even if you do. Give what you most want and it will come back in ways you can’t even imagine. Give unconditionally and of course you will receive back tenfold. Go GAGA in the generosity department not just with those you know, but the strangers you meet. Be generous with your wisdom, kindness and love. Be a generous spirit. Abundance is feeling rich regardless of how much money or real estate you have. I wrote an e-book on this and if you are a MyDreamCircle.com member you will receive it as one of ten e-books. Let me practice what I preach by offering it to you as a gift. It's called Living a Rich Life. If you’d like to pass it on, click here. If you practice the first three GAGA principles, abundance is often the reward. But since they actually tie together, you can begin anywhere. One of my GAGA practices around abundance is to go to the ocean and see what true limitless possibility looks like. As far as I can see is abundance. I breathe it in and say “I am that.” What we truly love and appreciate in the world and in others also lives inside of us. How’s that for limitless resources? So, go GAGA. We’d love to hear how you practice gratitude, appreciation, generosity and abundance. My Dream Circle members can join Marcia live on December 4th for an Open Dream Coach Session. Members also receive 10 beautiful e-books.

Dream Quote"If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, 'thank you,' that would suffice." Dear Marcia,
How do I express gratitude at a time when things are not going well? I lost my job, am fighting with my spouse and to boot, just came down with the flu. What do I have to be thankful for? Thanks, S. Dear S, Thanks for writing even though you feel kind of down. Personally, nothing turns me around faster than making space for what and how I feel. Sometimes we just need to vent. I suggest you find a comfortable place to do that…therapy, a girlfriend, in the woods. Whatever works for you. Then find something that you are grateful for, even if it’s just that you can breathe. It means you are alive. Small things carry big weight here. We’ve all had bad days/weeks/months. The secret is shortening the wallow time. The sooner you find your way back, the sooner you’ll see and remember what a blessing life is. Once you find something you are grateful for, find another. Turn your focus up on these and down on what doesn’t work. Make a clear choice or set an intention for what you want and as soon as possible act on that. This shows you are more committed to what you want than what you have (that’s not working for you). The fall is an important time for cleaning house (inside and out) to make room for new dreams and opportunities. Warmly, Need help? E-mail your questions.
