Create like Leonardo and Innovate like Edison
Michael J. Gelb, is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the fields of creative thinking, accelerated learning, and innovative leadership. For 25 years he has lead seminars for organizations such as  Nike, Merck, IBM, Microsoft, and DuPont. A retired professional juggler who once performed with the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, Gelb created the Juggling Metaphor Method. A passionate student of the Renaissance and the nature of genius, he ignited the current fascination with all things da Vinci with his How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci: Seven Steps to Genius Every Day. The New York Times, the Washington Post, and Training Magazine have all featured Gelb's work and he has appeared on Good Morning America, CNN  and the BBC. His newest book, Innovate Like Edison will be out in the fall of 2007.

What if you could call on history's greatest genius, Leonardo da Vinci, to be your personal mentor in cultivating your creativity? Leonardo invented the parachute before anyone could fly! Imagine what you can accomplish with that kind of thinking. This dynamic, highly-interactive program brings da Vinci's genius to life setting the stage for an introduction to seven principles for thinking "a la Leonardo."

The da Vinci principles are:

You will learn how to: Accelerate your learning process, Cultivate creativity every day, Balance analysis with imagination, Embrace ambiguity and uncertainty, Generate more ideas in less time, and Apply "systems thinking" to problem solving.

Thomas Edison didn’t just invent the incandescent light, he envisioned and created a system for lighting the entire world.  His system included the means for funding, producing, distributing, monitoring, marketing, and continuously improving his inventions.  Then, he did the same thing with the phonograph and moving pictures, launching the modern entertainment industry.

When asked what his rules were for the laboratory and its staff, Edison loved to respond, “Hell, there are no rules here - we’re trying to accomplish something.”  However, as we study his life and work, it becomes clear that he did have powerful rules for innovation. Edison's rules were based on 5 essential core skill sets necessary to innovate.  Edison’s Five Competencies of Innovation(TM) are:

1.  Solution-Centered Mindset
2.  Kaleidoscopic Thinking
3.  Full-Spectrum Engagement
4.  Master Mind Collaboration
5.  Super-Value Creation

Steven Weinberg is an internationally renowned lawyer and business coach.  For over 25 years, he has taught executives how to make better decisions. His clients have included Apple Computer, American Home Mortgage, Anheuser-Busch, Colgate-Palmolive, Microsoft, and SONY and dozens of smaller companies in every major industry sector. Risk free business is the culmination of everything Steve has learned and taught with all of these clients over all of these years.

The concept of risk is certainly elemental to corporate thinking, but how real is it?  Is “risk” really a “thing” that exists in an objective, absolute state?  Does it have a life independent of the decision makers and their perceptions and beliefs?  Is it even real at all?

Risk-free business will help you, your employees and your organization gradually, effectively, and completely remove the fear associated with risk and risk itself from the way you and your company make decisions.  Risk free business will help you and your company:
